We joined with 2 other local homeschooling families to visit a fire station this morning. Being the weekend, the dads got to join in the fun too. Waiting outside the station beforehand, the water feature provided a great attraction for all the kids.
No demo of the big hose, but the kids all got a turn to climb up and sit in the truck, and later get blasted by the siren (much to Sarah's dismay). Lots of fun, and then we all went across to the park for a play and lunch, and voting!
