Watching the capillary action of celery is just a simple science experiment, but anything labelled as such interests the boys at present. We tried changing the water colour to blue for a few hours the next day, but I think it was already too waterlogged to judge the effects. This experiment would be a good candidate for a stop motion pro/time lapse movie...
