Today I made some "bikkies" (as Sarah says) with the 3 urchins for our playgroup breakup party. As I put the trays into the oven, I warned the boys to have their running shoes on to be ready to run when I opened the oven door, as they might run away! Caleb gave me a strange look that made me wonder if he believed he would indeed see a real live gingerbread man leaping off the tray! When he saw the angel biscuit cutter- he declared that the angel might get up and fly away when cooked!
I later sat and read the gingerbread man story to Caleb- I think it was his first hearing of it actually. Might explain the strange look :)
