Christmas

Christmas this year was a bit different for us- waking up in our own beds, just having our own family together 'til the afternoon, going to the Christmas day service at our own church, and hosting the main meal at our place. Seems we have been away from home for several Christmases, so it was a welcome change. Though by the afternoon we were very happy to have others join us too. Note to self to welcome in those who are alone for Christmas next year...

Our next door neighbour- whom I have really appreciated getting to know this year - invited us over for a swim in their pool in the afternoon (That's her little boy with his grandma).

David and Jenny joined us for dinner, and added some live carol playing.

It was fun to do some table decorating this year as host.
