Our playroom/school room has been under construction for what feels like a long time. Actually, since January this year when Steve first removed a wall! Then we had tiles replaced, plastering work done, and now we're in the middle of painting it all. The boys were keen to help paint, so we thought we'd let them a have a go while we were on the first coat. They were very pleased with themselves, brushing away happily, but did need a bit of a hand with the tad heavy roller. Looks like it will be the best part of a year renovating the downstairs area, by the time the laundry cabinets get put in next.... It's been a busy year for us, so we've kind of plodded away slowly at this project, but it will be rather pleasing to see it finished and have some spare evenings.
