Timmy the dog lover

Tim wants a dog! A big, fluffy, cuddly, well behaved dog that will walk by his side without a leash, can sleep on his bed and cuddle up etc. Sounds so lovely and I wonder if the idea was inspired by his reading such books as The Famous Five, and fueled on by his imagination. Hmmmm- we already have a little dog. Tim has asked to go to the pet shop to see what they have, check out pics online of various breeds. He likes Huskies and offered to put in his grand total of $7 pocket money on hand at the moment (towards a $800 + dog)!!! On holiday, he spotted a friendly big dog at the front of a nearby house and asked to go have a pat. Well, we're kind of biding our time seeing how long the fascination lasts at present, and telling him he can practise on Rocky- taking over more of his care as trial for a long time yet.... He has been showering him with more attention than usual, so will just wait & see for now.... Poor Rocky- wonder if he feels a bit used!
