Another weekend away- this time to a farm! Thanks P & E for the visit :) We thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit wet, but what more can 2 boys want, than to walk, splash and land in mud puddles, anyway? Nothing a good hose down won't fix, as Steve discovered :)
Some things we got up to over the few days;

- 5 kids and 2 adults squeezed into the cab of the ute driving through the paddock to check out the cattle and calves.
- open fire cooked sausages for lunch. Plus- a first for the kids- toasted marshmallows afterwards on Uncle's handcrafted long handled wire marshmallow prongs.
- Rummikub games in the evening. The kids also tried out Aunty E's range of toys & games from when her kids were young. Brought back memories of when I used some similar.
- rides on the 4 wheeler as mud flicked up the sides
- catching yabbies in the dam
- drawing of Uncle's new house in progress
- gardening with Aunty E
- trying (?) to only go in water lower than the level of her boots!
- checking out how much water was in the creek & over the road
- gumboot family in their knee high boots
- baby size tractor- woo hoo! While away, Bethany's first two teeth came in - must be that country air, heh?
- "Grandma" as Aunty E got called by Sarah. Her real grandchildren visited and called her that, so I guess that's what Sarah thought your name was for herself too :)
