He is risen indeed!

We made use of some of our turf supply from our backyard project to create this little 'Easter garden' in a tray. We already had some air drying clay on hand, so used that to mold the tomb. The boys particularly enjoyed hunting for sticks to make the crosses, the soldier guarding the tomb, and trimming down neighbour's overhanging branches for the flowers :) To keep the flowers alive, we dug out a small circle in the turf and placed a lid filled with water there.
Another special thing this Easter was a phone call to Steve's 90 year strong Dad (who is in hospital at present). What made it special was that while Steve was leading the song service at church this morning, he phoned his dad on his mobile, and then let him listen in while the congregation sang his favourite song- "Up from the Grave He Arose"! Steve said his Dad joined in at that phrase. We hope to visit him soon... That's my ideas man- Steve :)
