The 2 boys helped cart away all the broken concrete chunks and load the trailer. Plus an exciting trip to the dump to offload it all- Sarah cried when she thought she was going to miss out on a car trip with dad and the boys, so she ended up doing the dump trip too!
Top soil went down to fill and level the remaining gap. What to use if you don't have a compressor?! Just send your kids out to race across the soil for a while and compact it down :) What more could boys (and Sarah too) want for holiday entertainment than stomping over dirt?
And finally- rolling out the turf... Lots of good outdoor fun for a few days.

Indeed - can think of no better way for turf to be flattened! Will open up the yard a bit - nice to be outdoors together isn't it?
