Caleb turned the big 5 last Friday. He seems to be growing up a lot lately. When he first said he wanted a 'football cake', I thought he meant a 3D ball, which would've been a bit of a challenge. But he had a football
field in mind, and since I found a set of players and goal posts in a cake shop, 'twas just a matter of placing them (actually, Caleb enjoyed doing that part) on a green iced slab of cake! Wa-lah, easily pleased.
We had to postpone part of Caleb's birthday celebrations this time. Caleb was keen to go for a ride on the "ferris wheel" at South Bank (Wheel of Brisbane), so we headed in for that, only to discover it was closed for some construction work being completed :( Caleb wasn't too upset, but we will return to do that another day... Instead, we enjoyed a play at the playground and a bit of a look through the museum. Happy Birthday Caleb :)
