- seeing the boys thoroughly enjoy being in the waves each day- especially Tim, who informed us he wanted to learn to surf. He also eyed off boogie boards in the shopping trip!
- racing back to the tent from the beach a few times when caught in another downpour. We had a lot of warm showers!
- getting lost in a maze of hedges, and looking out for (and giving cuddles/smooches to) dwarfs, and Snow White.

- games of uno before bedtime
- discovering that Caleb doesn't relish having his photo taken, and that despite all we got up to, his favourite event was simply playing cricket (albeit a very short game)!
- amazement at how the boys found various ways to keep themselves amused; playing with their new torches, digging in the sand of the vacant tent sites nearby, running down sand dunes, chatting to the neighbours, learning the combination code for the amenities block, jumping in mud puddles and generally appreciating any water about.

- Passing time while Dad was in the shop's change room! He had a ball - jigging about in the large hat.
- Imaginative play in the tent with cars, torches and pillows.

All in all, a great time away, we'll have to do it again. In fact, Steve has been enthused to check out what's available in the world of tents, camper trailers and pop tops...
