Shed, cane toads, swim and sausages. Our day, though somewhat ordinary, turned out to be rather Australian after all. What else could be more Australian than putting up a shed??!! Steve quite enjoyed getting it well underway.

And as for the boys (+ Sarah)- they collected a stash of ugly cane toads from around the yard and piled them up in an empty fishtank on hand!! Ewww, I say, but exciting for them :) They didn't go to the extent of racing them- but maybe for Qld day!I had planned to cook some anzacs, but got a phone call from mum instead, so happily left that plan for another day. An afternoon swim (actually swimming lesson) for the 3 big kids while Steve kept 'lil B company at home. And Australian organic lamb sausages with salad for tea.

But the highlight was our 'lil B achieving a milestone today- taking 6 steps this morning, and then spending the rest of the day practising her new skill further...
