Party time

Parties can be stressful - getting stuff ready and perhaps you wonder if the kids appreciate all your effort. But I do enjoy creating/making the do-dads, so if I get in early it takes the pressure off and can be fun. And so for Caleb's birthday party coming up, it's become our project to chip away at after the official schoolwork is done for the day. Some I've done myself, other things I rope in the kids to help- like painting, pouring chocolate into molds, addressing envelopes. Some preview photos, in case I forget to take them at the party before they disappear.

Why wear a smiling bucket on your head? It's a Lego minifigure head of course, acting as a blindfold!
